In season one, with the help of Weroniki, a Central Bureau of investigation agent, Piotr investigates a large financial scandal with far reaching consequences.

Piotr investigates the link between Daniel, his deceased brother, and Adrian Bogusz, a depressed businessman. Piotr begins a probe that puts his life -- and his family's lives -- on the line.

Piotr's associate Monika reports on a rumor about very prominent government officials; Piotr attempts to discover who “Abraham” really is and how he is tied to the deceased men and the very rich Tomasz Nawrot.

Along with his sister-in-law Ewa, Piotr looks for her missing son Kuba, and on their search they come upon a remote shack housing criminal evidence. Meanwhile, Piotr receives a last warning to abandon the case in the form of shocking violence.

In the Season 2 finale, Piotr finally discovers the tie between a mining catastrophe, political extortion and several killings, but the election is tomorrow, and it may be too late to expose the guilty parties.
