For a brief moment, the lives of the “real world” David Collins and Amy Jennings threaten to intersect with those of their parallel-time counterparts, Daniel and Amy Collins. The parallel versions of the youngsters happen upon a portrait of Barnabas Collins, whose presence has been kept secret by William H. Loomis.
