Kate is out of her depth when a young girl's confession unearths dark family secrets. The staff have two cases dealing with elderly people, who are at the mercy of their off-springs. One has to endure being beaten by her son but it's the reverse in the other case, where the father feigns suicide, to get his daughter to take him in.
