Twelve teams, driving their own cars, embark on a grueling 4000 mile road rally with huge cash on the line. Teams compete in a challenge where they have to hit rows of exploding targets with their cars. The teams must decide if they take the route mapped out for them, or if they go their own way. If they choose to take their own route.
Let the Breakdowns Begin
Team Lamborghini and Team Nissan 240SX face car troubles. The drivers must compete in a challenge in which they have to destroy targets that are placed behind a school bus.
Road Kill
The remaining teams join forces to try and eliminate one of the most successful duos. The drivers have to compete in a challenge involving a high-speed driving slalom.
Hometown Advantage
One team is given the advantage of knowing the area they are driving in, which gives them the leg up. The other remaining teams begin to feel the pressures mounting and start to bicker with one another and cause more stress. The remaining drivers muust compete in a head-to-head driving battle. The teams have to attempt to tear of moving targets that are placed on the side of a speeding truck.
Catch My Drift
Four teams compete in a drift contest with a twist. They must use their cars to crash through a wall of glass sideways. Chuck Aguilar of Team BMW M3 is dealt an unexpected blow when his uncle dies and leaves him with the decision to go home or not.
Wrecks, Lies and Videotape
This weeks race starts off in Wendover, Utah and heads to Salt Lake City, Utah. The challenge in this episode is to smash their cars through barriers in a timed, quarter-mile race.
Midnight Run
This leg of the race starts off in Salt Lake City, Utah and leads through Moab to Monument Valley. The challenge this week is to dodge crates that are falling off a truck the cars are chasing.
Operation Poison Arrow
One team devises a risky strategy to knock out their rivals as others tangle with local law enforcement. Drivers compete in a wild centrifugal slalom course using their cars to smash targets.
No Brakes, No Steering, No Problem
Four of the remaining teams must compete in a challenge that requires them to make their way down blind turns in a high-speed spiral slalom. Three of the teams target to get the other remaining team eliminated.
Run for the Border
In the first season finale, the three remaining teams battle for the $200,000 grand prize.

Twelve teams and their cars set off on their journey, which starts in LA and heads to Las Vegas for the first leg. The two slowest cars to reach the checkpoint, along with a team chosen by the lead car, end into the School Bus Take Down challenge.
