Yoon Hee's daughter dreams to be a classical singer. Despite her mom's disapproval, she's a feisty middle school student who pursues singing. One day, she visits the most famous soprano in Korea, Cheon Seo Jin. She wants to take her lessons and pleads her to accept her. Right when Seo Jin was astonished to hear her voice, Yoon Hee barges in, and the two meet unexpectedly.

All of Hera Club's middle schoolers aim to top the entrance audition to Cheong Ah Arts High School. Everyone busily takes their lessons and works hard and so does Ro Na, Yoon Hee's daughter. The big day arrives and everyone patiently waits for the results. A surprising name tops the list of successful applicants. It's an unheard girl named Min Seol A.

Seo Jin urges Seol A to sign a paper saying that she’ll give up her acceptance to Cheong Ah Arts High. Seol A doesn’t back down and firmly states how she’ll attend the school no matter what. On top of that, Seol A also mentions how she knows about Seo Jin and Dan Tae’s secret illicit love affair.

Due to Seol A’s death, Ro Na, the first on the waiting list of Cheong Ah Arts High automatically gets accepted. Unlike Ro Na’s jovial heart, Yoon Hee is confused and nonplussed at the news. She can’t remember what happened the day she went to Hera Palace.

Files of Hera Club kids harassing Seol A is spread online and the Hera Club parents find ways to circumvent the situation. They decide to shift the attention to Yoon Hee and make sure Ro Na is suspended from school. However, an unexpected man stands up for her at the emergency parent meeting.

Su Ryeon visits Congressman Cho to reveal the truth behind the countless orphans who were adopted but deported back. The two get in a fight as the discussion heats up and Mr. Yoon accidentally kills Congressman Cho by trying to protect Su Ryeon. Right then, the doorbell rings and Yoon Hee appears.

Yoon Hee decides to sell the Bosuk Village home she bought for her daughter’s sake. However, on the day Yoon Hee was supposed to sell the house, she sees the news of the city’s new redevelopment plan. Bosuk Village will be the main redeveloped area and she and Ro Na be rich now.

Su Ryeon intentionally allows Yoon Hee to see her husband having an affair with Seo Jin. Using Yoon Hee’s sympathy toward her, Su Ryeon moves on with her plans in bringing down Joo Dan Tae. The first step is by purchasing the building in the center of Myeongdong’s new shopping center site.

Because Yoon Hee won the auction bid for the Myeongdong house, Joo Dan Tae tries to win her over by offering a deal. However, Yoon Hee remains rigid and clearly states that she will not sell the building to Joo Dan Tae. The Hera Club men are infuriated and this time, Attorney Lee steps in to convince Yoon Hee in selling the Myeongdong house.

Yoon Hee moves into Hera Palace and the whole Hera Club is astonished. More surprisingly, it was Joo Dan Tae who wrote a recommendation letter, allowing her move-in. Ro Na and Yoon Hee enjoy their first day at Hera Palace while the others scheme to get her out.

Yoon Chul spots Seo Jin enjoying an intimate time with Joo Dan Tae. He's devastated inside and decides to get a divorce. Meanwhile, Cheong A’s audition to select the school’s ambassador is held and all of the Hera Club kids participate. As they audition, Seok Hoon hints a warm support to Ro Na, and Eun Byeol burns with jealousy.

Everyone practices hard to perform well at the Cheong A Ambassador Audition. Eun Byeol is on the verge to ruin herself as she grows agitated about competing against Ro Na and Seok Kyung. Seeing her daughter in panic, Seo Jin buys the audition script and hands it over to Eun Byeol to practice.

Yoon Hee finds out how badly Joo Dan Tae needs to meet Logan Lee to sell the Myeongdong plot of land. She and Su Ryeon plan to get back at Joo Dan Tae by arranging Logan and Dan Tae’s meeting at all costs. Will Logan buy Yoon Hee’s story and help her out?

At the lighting ceremony hosted to impress Logan Lee, Joo Dan Tae faces an unexpected surprise. Another hideous warning calling out Min Seol A’s death takes place and all Hera Club members are taken aback. Right then, Seo Jin steps up to confront Su Ryeon and exposes Su Ryeon’s relationship with Min Seol A.

Yoon Hee finds out how Ro Na has been misunderstanding her relationship with Yoon Chul. She decides to get back at Seo Jin for deliberately using her daughter to instigate Eun Byeol. Seo Jin and Yoon Hee meet, with another surprise guest Seo Jin would’ve never thought of in her dreams.

Seo Jin covers up her father’s death as an acute heart attack and acts as if she had nothing to do with it. After the funeral, she secures her position as the new director of the Cheong A Arts Foundation. Meanwhile, Logan Lee offers a co-investment plan to Joo Dan Tae.

Yoon Hee scans her memory to the night when Min Seol A died. She remembers that she was the one who pushed Seol A off the balcony of the 47th floor. Before she could even handle the truth, Su Ryeon confesses how she’s been using Yoon Hee to reveal the truth behind Seol A’s wrongful death.

Yoon Hee sees Dan Tae as a chance to elevate her daughter, Ro Na’s school life. Despite feeling some guilt about slowly growing distant from Su Ryeon, she partners with Dan Tae to also hide the fact that she’s the killer of Min Seol A. Meanwhile, Eun Byeol feels disgusted toward her mom after finding out about her affair with Mr. Joo.

On the day of Seo Jin's inauguration ceremony as the new director of Cheong A Foundation, a surprise text spread across the school. She's accused of forging Eun Byeol's admissions to Cheong A Arts High and captured. Dan Tae is also sued for embezzlement and finds out it was Logan Lee who reported him.

Seo Jin and Yoon Hee both beg Su Ryeon to stop now. They can’t bear seeing their daughters suffer from their wrongdoings, now being exposed. Su Ryeon tells them to turn themselves in and pay for what they did to Min Seol A.

Yoon Hee admits to killing Su Ryeon at the police station, but there’s actually a real culprit behind Su Ryeon’s murder. Joo Dan Tae planned to frame Yoon Hee and kill Su Ryeon together with Cheon Seo Jin. The two happily enjoy their freedom as Yoon Hee gets arrested.

Dan Tae and the residents of Hera Palace prepare a proposal for Seo Jin. However, police officers barge in and arrest Dan Tae as the murderer of Su Ryeon. While Yoon Hee turns herself in, she runs into Dan Tae and Seo Jin at the police station. Now that Dan Tae is a new suspect, other residents also start to believe that he killed his own wife.

When Yoon Chul introduces Yoon Hee as his wife, everyone gets shocked especially Eun Byeol. Seo Jin can’t stop thinking about Yoon Chul and it leads Seo Jin and Dan Tae to have a huge fight. Meanwhile, the doctor warns Seo Jin not to sing for awhile, but she can’t give up on her concert as it can damage her reputation.

Seo Jin is shocked to find out that Yoon Hee sang for her instead of Young Ran. The more Yoon Hee tries to bring Seo Jin down, Seo Jin feels insecure. She gets mad at Secretary Do and tells him to find a way to stop her. Meanwhile, Dan Tae also notices that Seo Jin is hiding something from him and questions Secretary Do to discover her secret.

Out of the blue, Yoon Chul visits Seo Jin at the hotel where she’s supposed to meet Dan Tae. As Dan Tae arrives, Seo Jin quickly hides Yoon Chul in the closet. Meanwhile, Ro Na comes back to Cheong A Arts High School and Ma Ri gets furious after finding out that her daughter, Jenny is being bullied by Seok Kyung and her friends.

Seok Kyung threatens Seo Jin with a secret she claims to know about her for the grand prize given at the Cheong A Art Festival. Ma Ri flips out on the parents who bullied Jenny and warns them she won't back away until everyone involved gets punished. Meanwhile, Seo Jin finds her mother and sister in her office with a non-disclosure agreement and tells her to step down from being the director.

A janitor who found Ro Na on the staircase runs into the auditorium, screaming when Seo Jin announces the grand prize winner of the Cheong A Art Festival. Ro Na goes unconscious and Yoon Hee suspects Eun Byeol. When Seo Jin realizes that the culprit was Eun Byeol, she goes back to school to find the trophy in Eun Byeol's locker and runs into Yoon Hee and Ma Ri.

Eun Byeol is going mad day by day, and Seo Jin calls Yoon Chul for help. When Yoon Hee finds out that Yoon Chul is also involved in Ro Na’s death, she runs to Cheong A Medical Center to find him. Dan Tae uses Seo Jin’s weakness to gain more power and wealth, and Yoon Hee uses her biggest secret to bring her down in front of the public.

Yoon Hee meets Ae Gyo for the first time, and she is surprised as she looks just like Su Ryeon who is supposed to be dead. Seok Hoon tries to figure out what Eun Byeol has done to Ro Na, but Eun Byeol can’t remember anything that happened during the Cheong A Art Festival. Meanwhile, Yoon Chul is too guilty to stay by Yoon Hee’s side anymore, and he decides to leave her.

Yoon Hee and Logan try to persuade Ae Gyo to stay away from Dan Tae, and they leak information that Dan Tae was hiding to get back at him. Furthermore, Seo Jin is about to be kicked out of the director position of Cheong A Art High School. Meanwhile, Seok Hoon believes there is something his father, Dan Tae, is hiding about Su Ryeon’s death.

Yoon Chul is arrested after Mr. Park confessed that he bribed him to give a fake confession. Yoon Chul admits the crime as he has no choice but to protect Eun Byeol. After hearing the news, Seo Jin runs to the police station to meet him. Meanwhile, Yoon Hee also visits Yoon Chul to tell him something she has been hiding all along.

Seok Hoon receives a phone call from Ro Na and runs to see her. When Ro Na tells him the truth, he wants to take revenge for her. Meanwhile, everyone in Hera Palace is dying to buy land in Cheonsoo District and Dan Tae is satisfied that he owns 70 percent of them as he planned for so long. However, Ae Gyo teams up with the residents to get back at Dan Tae.

Yoon Hee accepts Ae Gyo’s plan as she realizes that Ae Gyo was Su Ryeon all along. Ro Na also participates in her plan, to help her. Therefore, the police find Su Ryeon and Ro Na in the basement underneath Dan Tae’s cottage. Meanwhile, the residents are worried that Su Ryeon came back alive as they are guilty of what they’ve done to her in the past.

Yoon Hee decides to take her punishment as she feels sorry for Su Ryeon and her daughter, Seol A. However, the rest of the members of the Hera Club claim their innocence throughout the trial for Seol A’s case. Meanwhile, Logan comes back to Korea to propose to Su Ryeon, and Su Ryeon gets rid of Dan Tae’s and Seo Jin’s belongings in the penthouse.

Finally, Su Ryeon spends a pleasant time with her kids, Seok Hoon and Seok Kyung. However, Seok Kyung is not happy how Su Ryeon and Seok Hoon are overly generous to Ro Na. The newlywed couple, Dan Tae and Seo Jin, go through a tough time adjusting to prison life, and they try their best to find a way to get out from there with their money and power. Meanwhile, Su Ryeon witnesses Logan's death right before her eyes, and she strongly believes that it was done by Dan Tae.

The moment Seo Jin is released from prison, she visits her daughter, Eun Byeol, but Eun Byeol avoids her. Therefore, she decides to retrieve everything back from Dan Tae and her stepmother. Meanwhile, on the day of the performance test, students are getting ready at the examination hall for Seoul University of Music, and Seok Kyung relays a shocking message to Jenny just before the test.

Su Ryeon stops Jun Ki from shooting Dan Tae at the restaurant since Seok Kyung was with him. Jun Ki finally meets Su Ryeon and tells her the truth behind Dan Tae’s real identity and Logan’s death. To take his revenge, Jun Ki meets everyone around Dan Tae. Meanwhile, Hera Palace residents suspect Yoon Hee of taking Logan’s 10 billion dollars which he received as an inheritance under Seol A's name.

Yoon Hee straight away notices that Dong Pil was hiding something for Dan Tae. Since Yoon Hee is searching around to find the truth behind Dan Tae's crime, Dan Tae decides to get rid of her by using his people. Meanwhile, Ro Na and Seok Hoon try to help Eun Byeol as Bun Hong was getting more and more obsessive over her.

After discovering Oh Yoon Hee's body, Yoo Dong Pil falls victim to Joo Dan Tae and drops to his knees, begging for his life. As a result, he gets told to get rid of Oh Yoon Hee's body. Meanwhile, due to Joo Dan Tae's scheme, Jin Bun Hong holds an emergency press conference claiming that Oh Yoon Hee kidnapped Ha Eun Byeol.

Seo Jin becomes the director at the Cheong A Arts Center. Later, Eun Byeol wakes up at the hospital, and despite the good news of her getting into Seoul National University, she becomes frantic as she accuses Seo Jin of killing Oh Yoon Hee. Meanwhile, Ma Ri vows to help Su Ryeon takedown Joo Dan Tae as Su Ryeon figures out what Yoon Hee wanted to mention before she died.

Cheong A Constructions and Dohae Construction continue their fight on who gets the rights to the Cheonsoo District redevelopment project until the very end with lobbyists fighting hard on both sides. As Dan Tae believes his plan to be foolproof, he asks Seo Jin for even more money. However, when things don't go the way he planned, he takes a big risk in an attempt to make up for his losses.

Su Ryeon becomes desperate after finding out that Seok Kyung is her biological daughter and that Ju Dan Tae may have taken her somewhere else other than Italy. To help find Seok Kyung, Seok Hoon fools Dan Tae into thinking that he wants to take over his father's business and starts digging for clues. Meanwhile, Ro Na shines at the Cheong A Arts Residence Audition.

Joo Dan Tae and Cheon Seo Jin celebrate together for having their plan go through, blaming Logan's supposed death on Su Ryeon. However, they each know that soon the other will be after their throat. Meanwhile, Logan reunites with Su Ryeon, and he tells her everything that happened. With Yoon Chul's help, they vow to punish Seo Jin and Dan Tae for their crimes.

Su Ryeon and Logan get Dan Tae and Seo Jin right where they want them, fighting against each other. With Ma Ri, Dong Pil, and Yoon Chul on board, they take it further and use Baek Jun Ki and Jin Bun Hong to empty their pockets dry. As they throw evidence that can destroy them at their faces, Seo Jin and Dan Tae fight each other to survive.

Joo Dan Tae tries to escape on a boat as a fugitive. However, when he wakes up, he finds himself confined and as Baek Jun Ki. Meanwhile, evidence that Seo Jin may be the murderer in Oh Yoon Hee's death surfaces. Later, she gets abducted by Su Ryeon and Logan, and then everything she ever dreamed of starts to cave in on her.

Seo Jin survives and recovers in the hospital. However, Su Ryeon believes her mental state is all just an act. Meanwhile, loan sharks wait by her hospital bedside, keeping watch as Eun Byeol tries to fight them off. Later, Dan Tae escapes from the mental hospital in Japan and calls Seok Hoon for help.

Su Ryeon defeats Dan Tae and sends him plummeting to his death. However, he takes down Hera Palace, blowing it up as he planned. Logan saves Su Ryeon from the explosion, and later, they go after their last target, Seo Jin. Meanwhile, Yoon Chul wakes up and discovers that Seo Jin's dementia is all a sham.

Su Ryeon falls over the cliff and doesn't resurface. The rescuers search to no avail. Meanwhile, Seo Jin stands trial for the murder of Oh Yoon Hee and the attempted murder of Su Ryeon. Eun Byeol's testimony against her mother shocks everyone in court. Three years later, at Ro Na and Seok Hoon's recital, Logan chases a woman who looks like Su Ryeon.
