Episode 1
Political researcher Danny is in trouble when he leaves his Minister's speech in a pub toilet and Danny's lobbyist brother Scott has to start making new Conservative contacts.
Episode 2
Scott is distraught following Jake's death and it is up to Ashika to cheer him up. Meanwhile, the filming of a controversial book, 'The Dishonoured' in Jo's constituency causes an argument between Danny and Kirsty, while the Conservatives face inside competition.
Episode 3
Ashika is approached and offered the chance to stand as a candidate in an upcoming by-election. It's pro-bono week at Scott's company but Stephen becomes concerned when Scott becomes a little too focused on the plight of bears in China.
Episode 4
As Ashika struggles to become the Conservative candidate of a Labour constituency, Scott encounters problems with a manipulative Russian client. Will he ever be free again? Meanwhile, Danny continues to try and win over Kirsty as they organise Jo's fortieth together. However, Jo is having home difficulties and James isn't willing to let Ashika go.
Episode 5
Jo is in trouble when an Asian teenager stabs his white cellmate to death in a New Labour Youth Offender's Detention Centre. This leads to a conflict of morals for Danny, he has to help Jo out, but can he really slander a dead man? Meanwhile, Kirsty and Scott cannot be civil as both try desperately to hide the truth from Danny. The Conservative Winter Ball also provides a venue for several meetings and Ashika gains a powerful weapon against George, but will she use it?
Episode 6
As Ashika starts campaigning in Scott's dad's old constituency, Stephen informs Scott that the Labour Party wish to hire him to organise the Labour campaign. Meanwhile, Danny tries to help an unwilling Jo, and a bitter constituent starts stalking Kirsty.
Episode 7
Things get personal between Ashika and Scott, in more ways than one. A devestated Jo turns to alcohol when her husband, Ian, leaves her, only to ruin her career too. Danny finally starts to see Kirsty's true colours and James begins to miss Ashika.
Episode 8
In the final episode of the series, who will win as Ashika goes head to head with Scott at the by-election? And will the pair be able to start a meaninful relationship, without politics getting in the way?
