Shantanu Bansal aka Shanky is living an unremarkable life in Laxminagar, Jamnapaar. However, one day a chance visit to a fancy Gurgaon client puts things into perspective for him and Shanky comes back totally enamoured by the corproate dream across the Yamuna river and a false sense of acknowledegement.

Shanky is determined to go back to Lunatek, the fancy Gurgaon firm, by hook or by crook. Meanwhile all Jamnapaar forces align against him, making him feel more claustrophobic about his Jamnapaar life.

Shanky, after failing to secure the Gurgaon client, finds out there's still a chance to secure an articleship transfer in a Big 4 across Yamuna. His quest ends in public embarrassment as he swears to leave Jamnapaar for good.
