Caught under the rain, Khun Nueng brings Anueng to her apartment. Aneung shares that she was born prematurely when her teen mother tried to abort her, which explains her poor health and why she hasn’t graduated yet. After going three days without speaking, Nueng takes an opening to clear the air when she offers Anueng a portrait she drew of her from memory. Nueng begins opens herself up a bit to Anueng’s advances when Anueng’s grandmother discovers the true artist behind her portraits and forbids her from seeing her again.

Anueng’s mother Phiangfa blames Khun Nueng for Anueng’s near-death and Nueng feels terribly guilty. Chet happily learns that he is Anueng’s father. Phiangfa asks Nueng to help her become closer to her daughter so she’ll join her abroad and Nueng criticises her for neglect. Anueng is excited about going to an amusement park with Khun Nueng for her birthday but feels betrayed when she discovers her mother, Chet, and her classmate are all coming along.

When Phiangfa expresses concerns over Nueng and Anueng’s relationship, Nueng reassures her that Anueng would never fall for her. Anueng receives her entrance exam results which determine whether or not she gets to stay in Thailand and asks her father for a favour which she keeps secret from Nueng. As Anueng enters a new phase of her life, Nueng grows more possessive but also more and more aware of the need to let go. Grief-stricken, she takes one last opportunity to be cruel.
