Episode 1
Goodeoki, a skilled slave, while preparing to escape from her master's house with her sick father hides in Seo In's home. Misunderstandings with Seo In's fiancée, So Hye, lead to a humiliating punishment. Meanwhile, Lady Ok Tae Young, returning from Qing, stays at an inn. How will the fates of Goodeoki and Ok Tae Young intertwine as they navigate their challenges?

Goodeoki, who now identifies herself as Ok Tae Young to conceal her identity, hides in a secluded annex. Wearing a veil to seek revenge for the late Tae Young, she assists in capturing a group of bandits who raided the inn. The discerning madam Han begins to take an interest in Goodeoki's cleverness.
