On November 26, 2014, she passed her leadership of Morning Musume. to Fukumura Mizuki and Hello! Project to Yajima Maimi when she graduated. She is well known for portraying a narcissistic image in TV shows, often calling herself the cutest member of Morning Musume. She created "Usa-chan Peace" (Bunny Peace), which is a phrase Michishige uses to identify herself.
